임신과 코로나 19 감염과의 관계(Relationship between pregnancy and COVID19)

오늘은 임신과 코로나 19와 관계에 대해서 알아보고자 합니다.

미국 CDC에서 임신과 코로나 19 감염에 대해 조사한 자료를 개시했습니다.

Today we are going to talk about the relationship between pregnancy and Corona 19.

아래 표를 보면 알 수 있지만,

임신 여성 23,434명, 비임신 여성 386,028명을 대상으로 수집한 자료입니다.

25세에서 34세 여성 군에서 임신 여성이 COVID19의 증상이 나타나는 비율이 현저하게 높습니다.

As you can see from the table below, we collected data from 23,434 pregnant women and 386,028 non-pregnant women.
In the 25- to 34-year-old female population, the incidence of COVID19 among pregnant women is significantly higher.

아래 표를 살펴보면,

ICU로 이송되는 비율은 임신한 여성이 2배 이상 높습니다. (10.5% vs 3.9%)

ICU는 보통 중환자실을 뜻합니다.

If you look at the table below, the rate of transfer to the ICU is more than twice that of pregnant women. (10.5% vs 3.9%)
ICU usually means intensive care unit.

같은 표 아래를 보면,

인공호흡기를 사용한 비율도 임신한 여성이 2배이상 높습니다. (2.9% vs 1.1%)

Below the same table, the rate of using respirators is more than twice that of pregnant women. (2.9% vs 1.1%)

에크모(ECMO)를 사용한 비율도 임신한 여성이 2배이상 높습니다. (0.7% vs 0.3%)

에크모(ECMO)는 심장과 폐의 기능을 대신해서 혈액을 환자 몸에서 빼내어서 체외 산화 장치에서 산소를 혈액에 주입한 동시에 혈액에 있는 이산화탄소를 제거하고 다시 환자 몸속으로 혈액으로 돌려보내는 장치를 말합니다.

 단순히 심장이나 폐의 기능을 보조하는 수준에서부터 심장, 폐의 기능이 마비되어 완전히 심장, 폐의 기능을 대신하는 수준으로 완전히 가동하여 이식을 기다릴 수도 있다고 합니다.

The percentage of women who used ECMO is twice as high as that of pregnant women. (0.7% vs 0.3%)

ECMO refers to a device that takes blood out of the patient's body instead of the function of the heart and lungs, injects oxygen into the blood from an in vitro oxidizer, removes carbon dioxide from the blood, and returns it back into the patient's body.

They say that you can wait for a transplant, starting with simply assisting the heart or lung function, to the point where the heart and lung functions are paralyzed and are completely in place of the heart and lungs.

최종 사망률 또한, 임신한 여성이 20% 정도 높습니다. (1.5% vs 1.2%)

The final death rate is also about 20 percent higher for pregnant women. (1.5% vs 1.2%)

물론 해외사례이긴 하지만,

산모들은 백신이 나와서 접종되기 전까지 감염에 더욱 주의하셔야 할 것 같습니다.

임신 계획이 있는 부부들은 COVID-19가 조금 잠잠해질 때까지 늦추는 것도 좋은 선택일 것으로 생각됩니다.

Of course it's an overseas case, but mothers should be more careful about infection until the vaccine comes out and is inoculated.
I think it would be a good choice for couples with pregnancy plans to delay the COVID-19 until it calms down a little.
